AI hallucination
An AI hallucination is an output from an AI model that sounds plausible but is factually wrong.
The model can write fluent, confident statements that are simply false. The risk is highest when it has no source to answer from.
Why it matters for a small business
An assistant that talks to your customers must not guess a price or an opening time. Ask any vendor how it answers when it does not know, and whether a person can read the chats.
